Web Development Manager

Location: Bellevue, WA
Beyondsoft's Data & Application Development Team is seeking a new manager to lead our rapidly evolving web development practice. As a Web Development Manager, you will be responsible for plan design, rhythm of business, collaboration with stakeholder teams to support business taxonomies, and coordination of cross-functional teams. You will also ensure quality delivery from every resource on the project, and hold your team responsible for BCI best practices.  
  • 5+ years of management experience.
  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • Dual-shore delivery/management experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytic and problem solving skills.
  • Experience of having worked in at least one modern object-oriented programming language, preferably C#.
  • Proven track record of shipping large complex scalable systems/applications in an agile environment.
  • Experience in engineering best practices such as Agile Scrum project management, change management, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Experience in estimating projects for successful completion and ability to work closely with sales and account managers
  • Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to build consensus and foster change in a client service business setting
  • Commitment to personal and professional growth, including the development of peers and junior staff
  • Drive for self-learning in the current web development technology landscape
  • A positive attitude and an innate determination for customer satisfaction
  • Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
  • Previous consulting experience and/or client interaction
  • Previous experience at Microsoft or other corporate experience
  • Bi-lingual (Mandarin) is a plus
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft’s Business Intelligence Suite
