Business Development Manager

Location: Bellevue, WA

The Consulting and BI Services division of Beyondsoft (formerly known as Piraeus Consulting)  provides consulting and development services to customers in need of data-driven solutions that are targeted to their business needs.  Through a mix of innovative business process, highly visual business intelligence, and analytics solutions and services, we improve the bottom lines of our Enterprise clients which include Microsoft, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Toyota, VMWare and a wide range others. We’re looking for an experienced leader and effective strategist to help drive sales and grow our BI solutions & consulting practice. The ideal Business Development Manager will have a well-established network within the Seattle-area consulting market and come prepared to partner with our team of expert consultants to identify customer needs, and sell the value of our offerings to bring them targeted solutions. The Business Development Manager will be tasked with developing new clients from their own network, following up on leads generated through Beyondsoft’s marketing efforts, and continuing to build strong relationships with our existing clients.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Business Development professional who wishes to sell in collaboration with a high-integrity, quality-focused team that offers premium consulting services to industries of all types.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business for our BI and Consulting Services division
  • Collaborate with solution delivery teams to optimize the positioning of our offerings to customers
  • Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
  • Consistently build and deliver on an accurate account pipeline toward an agreed annual target
  • Drive the Business Development Team forward as a true sales leader to close new business


Qualifications
  • Sales professional with a programmatic and rigorous approach to generating new business
  • Well-established within the Seattle-area consulting, IT Services, and/or BI solutions market
  • Excellent leadership skills and strong understanding of consulting services
  • High level of comfort in negotiating deal terms and new contracts
  • Clear, precise and diplomatic written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to collaborate with delivery teams to craft custom offerings targeted to specific customer needs
  • Experience with sales forecasting and management
  • Excellent organization, communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent personnel management and project management skills: establishment of schedules, assignment of task ownership, identification of risks and blocking issues, follow-up and accountability.
