Senior Technical Project Manager

Location: Bellevue, WA
Piraeus Consulting is looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead client communications, manage prioritization, and defend technical scope for our consulting team that provides solutions to enterprise clients.  The ideal candidate will have strong scope, budget and schedule management experience, as well as a technical background and the ability to articulate technical and business issues to clients and stakeholders with the appropriate level of detail.  Candidates should also be able to develop an informed, logical point of view on realistic project requirements and milestones.  We are ultimately looking for someone who can manage numerous, overlapping deliverables, maintain a high standard of organization, and deliver top-flight consultative project management, while maintaining delivery of work on time and on budget.  


REQUIRED:
  • 5-7 years of experience in project management
  • Extensive experience managing and negotiating the scope of large-scale development projects
  • Experience as a software developer and/or working heavily with technical teams
  • Familiarity with databases, data visualization, web and cloud technologies
  • Outstanding communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership and juggling multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple overlapping projects
 
PREFERRED:
 
  • Previous consulting experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
