Contract Manager

Location: Bellevue, Washington
Beyondsoft Consulting (formerly Piraeus Consulting) is looking for an outstanding mid-level candidate to join our team as a Contract Manager for a large enterprise client. The ideal candidate will have a legal/paralegal background with experience in commercial contracting and negotiation, and will be able to read, speak, and write at a professional level in English, and preferably one other language.   • Support the client’s stakeholders with various contractual issues to drive deals to closure, including:
    • Review of nonstandard contract language
    • Negotiation of nonstandard contractual terms and conditions
    • Contract and obligations management
    • Risk review of contracts that fail validation procedures
    • Promotion of strong contracting practices to reduce risk and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Close collaboration with peers and higher tiered contracting professionals in the business
  • Case management in CRM tool
  • Management of junior team members; mentorship to junior team members

  • Must have a 4-year university degree or equivalent, preferably with a focus on legal studies
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in contract review and negotiation
  • Must have strong business acumen
  • Must read, speak, and write English at a professional level
  • Must have outstanding written and spoken communication skills
  • Must be tech-savvy and motivated to learn new technologies and systems quickly
  • Must be proficient in MS Office programs, with an emphasis on Outlook and Excel
  • Must be flexible with working hours to support a global client (12pm-9pm)

  • Ability to read, speak, and write one additional language commonly used in Europe (French, German) at a professional level
  • Previous experience managing teams
